Our Commitment to Intellectual Property

At academicscholarships.web.id, our mission is to build a trusted educational resource for the **Sustainable Urban Living Made Simple** community. This mission is built on a foundation of respect—respect for our readers, our planet, and the creators who produce original work. We take intellectual property rights very seriously and are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for handling copyright infringement claims and explains how you can report any concerns. We believe in the importance of protecting creativity and have established these guidelines to address issues promptly and fairly.

How to Report Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you are a copyright owner (or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one) and you believe that any content on our website infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the DMCA. To be effective, your notification must include substantially the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL of the page where the material is located).
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please send your DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Agent via our Contact Page with the subject line “DMCA Copyright Notice.” Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that material you posted on the site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, your counter-notification must be a written communication that includes the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which academicscholarships.web.id may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or an agent of such person.

Please submit your counter-notification to our Copyright Agent via our Contact Page with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notification.” Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may, in our discretion, send a copy to the original complaining party and inform them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days.
